Description

Roo is probably the most affectionate, loyal greyhound you’ll ever meet! He’s a great snuggler and a fantastic walker who gets much attention for his beautiful, elegant gait on the leash (not to mention his most gorgeous, big, brown eyes). He is the perfect dog-friendly coffee shop or brewery patio companion who stays right by your side and is wonderfully social with people of all ages! He is very well-behaved, quiet, house trained, friendly great in the car and loves nothing more than playing fetch in the backyard. Roo not only adores people, but this sweet, caring boy has also adopted quite a collection of stuffed animals – he enjoys showing his “babies” off to anyone who walks in the room. Although he is not cat-safe, he is impressively dog friendly on-leash, and off-leash with mature, well-mannered dogs of all breeds, providing he gets mindful & gradual introductions. Roo is a big boy for a greyhound at 79 pounds, with a big heart and would absolutely love a forever home with someone looking for a mature, low-key “Velcro dog” to provide plenty of companionship.

We adopt within 1 1/2 hours of Kansas City.
