This sweet and affectionate lurcher girl (greyhound mix) is a natural when it comes to basking in the sun. While she can be quite lazy and loves to lounge on the sofa, cuddle with people, and she also loves exploring on leash. But beware, as she can instinctively become the skilled hunter that she was bred to be. This means that you will need to make a few compromises like not keeping cats or dogs under 30lbs within her reach as she may think they are dinner! She can also become highly excited when peering out the window at other pups…it’s times like that that we wish we were able to provide her with a 5.5 or 6ft fence as this 45# athlete can easily jump a 4ft fence! She adores her foster family’s 10yr old son as well as the resident greyhound. She’s not only smart but a quick learner. Also, don’t let her age fool you (6 years old)–she’s a puppy at heart with a big personality and we think she’s just about perfect! . . . well except for . . . she’s told us that she doesn’t like to be startled when she’s sleeping. In order to respect her wishes, we are sure to wake her before petting or sitting close to her while she’s sleeping.
