Description

Meet Tucker. His journey to a forever home started with the most selfless of acts. In a story reminiscent of the Good Samaritan, Tucker was found injured on the side of the road, most likely the victim of coyotes. A Good Samaritan named Dylan scooped him up and he and his equally compassionate wife, Kelly, nursed Tucker back to health before asking KCREGAP to help Tucker find his forever family.

Currently in foster care, Tucker has put the trauma behind him and is working hard to live up to his name, tucking himself into the hearts of all who spend time with him. He’s mastered stairs, snuggles and snacks. He’s a great canine sibling and can frequently be found tucked under the arm of one of his foster humans, listening to the latest bedtime stories. He’ll even tuck himself into bed when he needs his beauty sleep or just a little break from the world.

Tucker is doing great with the only reminder of his journey being to learn to rely on his left eye for vision due to the loss of eyesight in his right eye. However, it doesn’t seem to bother Tucker or slow him down. He is loving life and the people and pups around him. When he’s not sleeping or snuggling, he’s exploring his world in a way that is uniquely him. Tucker is looking for a loving human to help guide him on the rest of his epic journey. Are you possibly his next Good Samaritan?
